Overview

Tony Jackson currently serves as the Director of Prevention in the Division of Substance Abuse Services (DSAS). In this capacity, he oversees the continuum of substance use prevention activities for DSAS. His responsibilities include managing the prevention portion of the Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services Block Grant (SUPTRS BG), administering federal discretionary grants from SAMHSA and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, and overseeing the allocation of State funds.

Ashley Ewald’s role as DSAS program manager includes providing technical assistance and support to contracted providers to ensure effective program implementation strategies. She oversees the approval process for invoices, subcontracts, and other contractual documents, aligning them with evidence based programs and targeted strategies. She plays a key role in approving local-level plans to ensure compliance and successful program outcomes.
